GERRY CONNOLLY FOR CONGRESS

I want to applaud Congressman Gerald E. "Gerry" Connolly for the fine work he has done over the course of his first term.

It is not often that either party has a leader who is willing to buck the party leadership as a freshman. Rep. Connolly has, on several votes, found the courage to break with the party line and vote his conscience and vote in the best interest of his constituents.

I know, given the lock step rhetoric of his opponent, that this leadership quality is sorely lacking with Mr. Keith Fimian. I believe that Congressman Connolly has earned the privilege of re-election, and I encourage the voters of the 11th District to re-elect Gerry Connolly.
